The 17-year-old moved to Ewood Park in the summer- the Lithuanian National Football Academy struck a deal with the Championship side.

According to , Blackburn have the option to sign him at the end of the loan spell, but they may now have competition from several clubs in the top tier of English football.

The teenager has appeared for the club in several youth games and was the man of the match in Blackburn's 1-1 draw with Manchester City's Under-18 side last month.

Piliukaitis was also the star of the show in the youth clash between Blackburn and West Brom where he hit a brace and grabbed an assist.

A Rovers source said: "Vilius has emerged as one of the best young players we have seen in years, they knew he was talented before he arrived but he is surpassed expectations massively and now it is little surprise that the interest is so high.”

Blackburn themselves could well bring the young star into their first team to boost their squad, but they may be unable to get the youngster to commit his future to them if the Premier League clubs come calling.
