Emotional scenes at the King Power Stadium on the first return since Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha tragic death
WHILE the 32,000 fans in the King Power Stadium applauded the return of Claudio Ranieri to Leicester City, Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha was lost in his own thoughts.
The son of Foxes owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, who died in last month's helicopter crash following the game against West Ham, was seen staring at the vacant seat where his father once sat.
It was one of many touching moments in an incredibly emotional day at the King Power as Leicester returned for the first time since the tragic night on October 27 to take on Burnley.
Ranieri was joined by other former Foxes bosses including Nigel Pearson, Craig Shakespeare and Martin O'Neill, who were sat alongside Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha.
The Thai billionaire's son, 33, was left tearful as the Foxes fans paid tribute to his father.
It began early on in the day as 20,000 supporters participated in "The 5000-1 Walk" took place, referencing the title-winning season two years ago.

Supporters also turned the car park where the helicopter crashed into a sea of flowers, scarves and flags to commemorate their owner.
Before the game, fans held "Mr Chairman" scarves aloft, while players wore t-shirts in tribute before a minute's silence was observed on a day full of tears.
The book of condolence - opened in the immediate aftermath of the crash - remained open today for fans to pay tribute to Vichai.
And supporters arrived at Leicester in their droves, silently paying their respects.
Last week, Leicester played on despite the tragedy, beating Cardiff 1-0 on an emotional day in South Wales.
