Leicester axe playing Kasabian’s ‘Fire’ as goal celebration music against Burnley after owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha’s death

British band are fronted by life-long Foxes fans Tom Meighan and Sergio Pizzorno, who have close ties to the club

LEICESTER will not play their usual goal celebration music against Burnley on Saturday as they mourn Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha's death.

The Foxes normally use Kasabian hit 'Fire' when they hit the net but the tune has been deemed inappropriate.

It will be Leicester's first home game since their owner and four others tragically died in a helicopter crash after the game against West Ham last month.

Kasabian singer Tom Meighan and guitarist Sergio Pizzorno are life-long Foxes fans.

The duo have close ties to their boyhood team and played a gig to mark their stunning Premier League triumph.

Speaking in 2015, former chief Claudio Ranieri said: "I think I know the Leicester fans very well.

"They are (passionate) supporters and I told my players 'when you go on the pitch and you hear the song from Kasabian, that means they want warriors.' I want to see them as warriors for the fans.

"Kasabian are a fantastic rock band from Leicester and I think the guitar man, Serge, is Italian. It’s good and I think they (the fans) love fighters. We are fighters."
