Spanish giants Madrid have long been linked with the 27-year-old and were desperate to bring him to the Bernabeu.

However, the Blues held firm and Hazard has hit top form under new boss Maurizio Sarri, bagging seven goals to help fire Chelsea to an unbeaten start in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, have Madrid axed manager Julen Lopetegui after a dreadful opening to the campaign that has left them sitting sixth in La Liga.

The Galacticos are still keen on the Chelsea star – but Thorgan Hazard has warned his older brother to think carefully about leaving West London for Real.

“Real are in a complex period. They sacked their manager, key players left. They have to rebuild.”

Thorgan, who signed for Chelsea himself in 2012 but spent his three years at the club out on loan, also offered encouragement to the Blues faithful that his sibling could stay.

Hazard has less than two years left on his Chelsea contract, which could force them to cash in next summer rather than allow him to leave for nothing in 2020.

But Thorgan, 25, insisted that his brother is not currently thinking about his exit.

He added: “I think Eden will see what happens at the end of the season. I know him. He’s not thinking about a move right now.

“He will give everything for Chelsea. He doesn’t want a clash with his club either. If he ever leaves, he will play it correctly.”

Yesterday’s 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace moved Chelsea above Liverpool on goal difference in to second place in the table.

They sit two points behind leaders Manchester City ahead of the Europa League trip to BATE on Thursday. Their next Premier League game is on Sunday when Everton visit Stamford Bridge.
