Arsenal fans find new way to have a dig at Tottenham with hilarious ‘Is our stadium ready yet?’ Twitter page

Every day a post answers the question as to whether the stadium is open for business

ARSENAL fans have had another dig at Spurs over the delays with their new stadium opening with a new Twitter page.

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was originally scheduled to be ready for the Premier League game against Liverpool on September 15.

But issues with the building work and safety problems mean the stadium is not expected to be open for business until January 13.

And of course Spurs' great rivals love it.

A Twitter account has been set up called "Is our stadium ready yet?"

The profile photo is the Tottenham club crest, and the Twitter handle is @WhenIsItReady.

The location reads "Not sure yet", and the "date joined" is April 2013, the year the club got the go ahead for the project.

Then hilariously, the account has tweeted out every day since October 22 with a one word answer to the question posed in their bio - "no".

SunSport reported how embarrassed Tottenham conceded they won’t be playing at their new stadium until next year.

And chairman Daniel Levy admitted he doesn’t know when the 62,000-seat arena will be ready.

The Spurs chief blamed missed deadlines and “factors completely outside of our control” for the latest setback.

Tottenham moved all their matches up to and including Wolves on December 29 to Wembley.

That was despite manager Mauricio Pochettino recently revealing that Levy told him the club hoped to move in on December 15 against Burnley.

Their next Premier League home clash after that is against Manchester United on January 13 - almost FOUR MONTHS after it was due to be opened against Liverpool on September 15.

Spurs could potentially play an FA Cup third round tie at home the weekend before if their stadium is ready.
