Man City star Bernardo Silva splits with stunning French girlfriend Alicia Verrando as she posts sultry beach pictures in white lace dress

MANCHESTER CITY midfielder Bernardo Silva has reportedly split with his stunning French model girlfriend Alicia Verrando.

Friends said the on-fire Portugal playmaker, who has scored five goals in nine league starts this season, reluctantly ended their two-year relationship because it had “gone cold” following the brunette’s move to the UK.

And Verrando, who combines brains and beauty with her two degrees, has wasted no time in showing Bernardo what he's missing with a string of sultry snaps.

The 24-year-old wowed fans by uploading revealing pics of her by the sea in a white lace dress.

And just days ago she published snaps of her relaxing alone by a canal in the Belgian city of Bruges.

Monte Carlo-born Alicia, who met Bernardo when she landed a job as an intern marketing assistant at his former club Monaco, flew to Russia to support Portugal at the World Cup.

Soon after arriving she shared a video of fans wearing Portuguese shirts with her partner’s name on ahead of his team’s match against Uruguay.

But the last "happy couple" photo they shared on social media was back in May, from the upmarket resort of Sesimbra near Lisbon.

Bernardo, who signed a five-year contact with Man City in May last year for a £43million fee, posted pics online of him with his sister Maria at her wedding but none with Alicia.

Respected Portuguese daily Correio da Manha, quoted a source close to the footballer on the news.

The source said: "In recent times, they were dating from a distance and it was not easy to maintain the relationship in this way, so Bernardo decided to end it.”

Alicia, who studied internatjonal business at California State University and speaks several languages fluently including English, Portuguese and French, left France to move to Manchester when manager Pep Guardiola came calling.

It was not immediately clear today where she is now living, as reports in Portugal described their recent relationship as “long-distance”.

However, according to her Linkedin page she started work as an account executive earlier this month for a Manchester-based PR firm.

Her 23,000 Instagram followers have yet to pick up on the reported split with Bernardo, who is set to be offered a new deal just a year after signing.

The 24-year-old midfielder revealed he first spoke to Alicia in English when they started dating.

He said in an interview after joining Man City: “From the age of four or five I studied in a British college in Portugal, so I got my basis of the language there.

“But I have been improving my language because my girlfriend is French and in the beginning we only spoke English.

“I think it will help me at City. I have come here because I think I can improve in a lot of ways.”

He has started in all but one of City’s nine league games this season and has scored five goals.
