PHIL IN CHEAP

Juventus preparing bid to sign Manchester City starlet Phil Foden…and they could seal the deal for ONLY £175,000

The teenager is out of contract at the end of next season and the Old Lady are pining for his signature

JUVENTUS are ready to snap up Manchester City whizz-kid Phil Foden for just £175,000 as his contract runs out at the end of next season, according to reports.

The Old Lady are frontrunners for the signature of the midfield starlet and are ready to pounce if Man City cannot conclude a deal for the 18-year-old.

have reported that if no deal is concluded Europe's elite could purchase the youngster for just £175,000 in development costs.

This has put the Italian champions on red-alert, as well as other elite European clubs such as BVB and Paris Saint-Germain.

The England Under-17 World Cup winner has only played 47 minutes of Premier League football for the champions this term.

This is a stark contrast to his old friend and ex-City team-mate Jadon Sancho, who has played nearly every game for Die Borrusen and has been a star performer.

Sancho has had a stunning season, and his blistering form continued yesterday as he scored a brace in BVB's draw with Hertha Berlin.

His form has seen his move above his old pal Foden in the England set-up as he made his senior debut against Croatia earlier this month.

The youngster might feel a move away from Manchester is the best way of fulfilling his potential.

Foden and Man City return to action on Monday night against Tottenham at Wembley.
