MO SALAH got back on the scoresheet - and got Liverpool back to winning ways.
The Egyptian wizard went a month without finding the net before his winner at the John Smith’s Stadium.
And it meant Jurgen Klopp’s side were back on track after four matches without a victory.
Salah struck in the 24th minute after a move that was started by Joe Gomez in defence.
Gareth Southgate was in the crowd and would have been impressed with Gomez setting up the attack by fizzing a pass to Xherdan Shaqiri.
Shaqiri found Salah and he breezed past Christopher Schindler before finishing off the post.
Huddersfield rallied and hit the post through Jonathan Hogg’s long-ranger.
And Alex Pritchard had the ball in the net but had just strayed beyond Virgil van Dijk into an offside position.
Laurent Depoitre forced Alisson into a second-half save with a header and they cannot be criticised for a lack of effort.
But it meant Liverpool were a threat on the break and Salah raced through again but went wide with his finish.
