Bayern Munich stars including Manuel Neuer and Mats Hummels neck steins with stunning Wags at Oktoberfest
The German side posed for photos in lederhosen as the squad get over their defeat to Borussia Monchengladbach
BAYERN MUNICH have put their on-field Bundesliga problems to one side to attend Oktoberfest following another league defeat.
Niko Kovac's side suffered a mauling at the hands of Borussia Monchengladbach as the visitors romped to a 3-0 win at the Allianz Arena.
The Bavarian giants have dropped to sixth in the table after suffering back-to-back league defeats, and now trail leaders Borussia Dortmund by four points.
But the squad were in a buoyant mood as they donned traditional lederhosen attire for the annual beer festival.
Joined by their stunning Wags and staff members, Bayern will be hoping the outing will fuel a run that will guide them back to the top of table.
The likes of Manuel Neuer, Robert Lewandowski, Mats Hummels and David Alaba were all smiles in what has been a difficult week for the all-conquering German side.
Their defeat against Monchengladbach was the fourth game in a row that Bayern failed to win in all competitions.
Kovac's men started the campaign with seven consecutive victories, and will be looking to bounce back in expert fashion after the international break.
Bayern face a tricky away clash against Wolfsburg on October 20, who are coming off the back of a 2-0 defeat against Werder Bremen.
And Munich could be set to lose a star player in January, with reports linking Hummels with a move to Manchester United.
