LEE BURGE may need a big bag of ice after being hit in the face by a HOCKEY PUCK.
The Coventry keeper, 25, decided to watch the Sheffield Steelers take on his local Blaze on Sunday.
And he ended up being rushed to hospital after being struck in the head, with the injury ruling him out of tomorrow's clash with Portsmouth.
Coventry Live report Burge suffered a nasty gash above his eye which needed to be glued up.
The accident happened as a Steelers player deliberately smashed the puck off the ice as a delaying tactic, picking up a two-minute time penalty.
Burge tweeted about his experience, joking he would not be visiting again despite enjoying his time there.
