MANCHESTER CITY are in no rush to offer Phil Foden a new contract, according to reports.
The champions are closely monitoring the 18-year-old’s progress and want him to solely focus on matters on the pitch.
And the claims the City top brass are prepared to reward the youngster with a bumper new contract worth £25,000-a-week.
Foden’s parents are happy with director of football Txiki Begiristain’s handling of their highly-rated son who currently earns around £3,000-a-week.
The teenager rounded off an outstanding performance against Oxford in the Carabao Cup last week with his first senior goal against the League One side.
But he was back on the bench for the Saturday’s routine win at home to Brighton with a late cameo at the Etihad.
