SERGIO BUSQUETS has committed his long-term future to his boyhood club by penning a mega five-year deal.
The Catalan side have also added a whopping £445million buyout clause in his contract, keeping him at the Nou Camp until 2023.
It's £267m more than his previous release clause that was set at £178m.
The 30-year-old midfielder has spent his entire career at Barcelona after coming through their youth academy.
And he looks braced to follow in the likes of Carles Puyol by retiring a one-club player.
SunSport previously reported how Busquets was one of a number of players to be handed fresh terms, along with Ivan Rakitic and Jordi Alba.
His new wages are believed to be on par with some of the club's highest earners.
He has played a whopping 490 games for the club and could become the club's highest appearance maker ever if he sees out his contract.
Midfielder legend Xavi currently holds that title having represented Barca a staggering 767 times in all competitions.
Busquets' had been loosely linked with a move to French giants Paris-Saint Germain in the summer but any switch away from the club looks highly unlikely.
