Manchester United star Marcos Rojo in injury scare as he hobbles off during Under-23s clash with Reading
MANCHESTER UNITED star Marcos Rojo has been given a fresh injury scare as he hobbled off during tonight's Under-23s clash with Reading.
The Argentine defender, 28, hasn't played all season after injuring himself during this summer's World Cup in Russia.
And Rojo dealt Jose Mourinho a fresh blow as he limped off in the Premier League 2 game earlier this evening.
Mourinho had hoped to add depth to the heart of his defence during the summer window - only to be left frustrated at Ed Woodward's stance.
The return of Rojo was meant to be a major boost for the Special One - with the likes of Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof looking suspect this season.
However, the Argentina star limping off midway through this evening's game will be another bitter blow for under-pressure Mourinho.
Earlier today, United stars travelled down to Watford on the train ahead of tomorrow night's Premier League clash, without Rojo.
Mourinho and Co were snapped at Stockport station earlier today as they prepared to venture south for the Vicarage Road showdown.
United know they will have a job on their hands too, with the Hornets still boasting a 100 per cent record after four games.
But Old Trafford stars including Paul Pogba, Alexis Sanchez and Jesse Lingard looked in relaxed mood as they patiently waited on the platform for their train.
