FIFA 19 rankings: Robert Lewandowski rated higher than Sergio Aguero, Harry Kane and Antoine Griezmann
ROBERTO LEWANDOWSKI is better than Sergio Aguero, Harry Kane and Antoine Griezmann.
At least that’s according to EA, the makers of Fifa 19.
The latest rankings have been gradually released by the developer ahead of the release date of the much-loved game later this month.
Today players 20-11 were unveiled – and Bayern Munich’s Polish striker finished top of the pile, narrowly missing out on the top 10.
Lewandowski scored 89 Shooting, 82 Physical Ratings and 85 for Dribbling.
And that put him considerably higher than Tottenham and England hero Kane.
Despite claiming the World Cup Golden Boot and having a Shooting rating of 90, the 25-year-old only came in at No17.
However, the Spurs ace can take some consolation in the fact his all-round game is rated one spot higher than French superstar Griezmann – who fired his country to glory in Russia and Atletico Madrid to Europa League joy.

One of the big surprises was Manchester City’s all-time top goalscorer Aguero only just making the top 20.
In their description of Lewandowski, EA say: “Topping the Bundesliga scoring charts season after season, Lewandowski has effectively cemented his place as a legend leading the line in Germany’s top league.
“Though he looks, on the surface, to be a very traditional center forward with his 89 Shooting and 82 Physical ratings, his 85 Dribbling displays a technical ability that equals being well-rounded as a striker, able to weave his way past defenders before smashing the ball into the back of the net.”
Fifa 19 will be released worldwide on September 28 and it will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
For those who can’t wait that long, the game can be played three days earlier, on September 25, by pre-ordering one of the Champions or Ultimate editions.
