Adidas release limited edition Gareth Bale boots to celebrate star becoming Wales’ top scorer

ADIDAS will be releasing a limited edition pair of Team Mode X18.1 boots to celebrate Gareth Bale becoming Wales' all-time top goalscorer.

The 29-year-old brought up 29 goals for Ryan Giggs' side in March when he banged in a hat-trick against China to surpass Ian Rush's record of 28 strikes.

And in honour of his feat for the Dragons, only 29 pairs of boots will be available to be bought by fans on the .

But supporters will have to act fast if they wish to be one of the lucky few to get their hands on the boots, with the cleats going on sale at 6.45pm later today.

The design features the #29 on the side of the boot - in reference to the amount of goals the Real Madrid forward has netted for the Euro 2016 semi-finalists.

While it also boasts the Welsh flag on the medial side.

Fans will get a glimpse of what they look like when Bale will don the pair in their Uefa Nations League clash against Ireland in Cardiff tonight.

While he will also showcase the boots against Denmark on Sunday, when Wales face Age Hareide's men - who are coming off the back of a last-16 appearance at the World Cup.
