JOHN TERRY has been tipped as the shock man to solve Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United defensive crisis.
The 37-year-old is well-known to the Red Devils boss and was a trusted lieutenant throughout both his spells at Chelsea.
Former Blues and England captain Terry is a free agent after leaving Aston Villa at the end of last season with rumours mounting he is set to return to the Championship side.
But after the failure to land a top centre-half over the summer, United’s backline has looked extremely fragile during their poor start to the Premier League.
And believes Terry should be on the radar of his old Blues manager.
And the Portuguese coach should be doing everything to beat Villa as he would prove to be the ideal short-term solution for Mourinho’s leaky defence.

“John Terry would get into the Manchester United team ahead of Smalling, Jones, Rojo, Lindelof. Think of the crisis they have got at the back, think about how well Jose Mourinho knows John Terry.
“He is a free agent, it could happen. If Jose Mourinho has thought about it, I can see that happening.”
