SAIDO BERAHINO finally ended his remarkable 913 day goal drought by firing Stoke into the Carabao Cup third round.
The striker last scored on 27 February 2016 while playing for West Brom before his second half header found the net against Huddersfield.
He had gone an incredible 47 games without a goal and the relief on his face was clear to see as his team-mates mobbed him in delight.
Winger James McClean's shot cannoned the crossbar and fell into the path of Berahino whose looping header somehow crossed the line.
It won't win any goal of the season awards but Berahino won't care in the slightest, just in time to face former club West Brom at the weekend.
But if that wasn't enough for one evening then Stoke fans were treated to one of the greatest own goals in cup history.
