Inside Manchester United’s ‘miserable’ training ground where rival City’s documentary has left everyone ‘depressed’
MANCHESTER UNITED’S training ground is “miserable and depressed” after a disastrous start to the season.
The Red Devils slumped to a humiliating 0-3 loss against Tottenham last night, the heaviest home defeat of Jose Mourinho’s career.
It came after a shocking 3-2 loss at Brighton the week before, culminating in just three points from three league games.
Mourinho’s men and disillusioned fans looked stunned yesterday, with a section of supporters booing at the final whistle.
And it is understood the mood around their Carrington training base is not much better, with the whole club feeling the pressure.
An Old Trafford insider said: "There is the usual miserable atmosphere running through the club. Nothing has changed.
"Some of us have just finished watching the City documentary and it shows how light years we are behind them.
"It’s probably the same for many others now as well. It is thoroughly depressing at the moment.
"It’s not just the players feeling the heat either at the minute. The coaches and staff are all stressed."
