According to , the 29-year-old is "one step away" from the Stadio Olimpico.
N'Zonzi will sign a four-year contract with Roma, on around £60,000-a-week.

And he has been able to convince Sevilla to part with the midfielder who played at Stoke for three seasons.
N'Zonzi was not part of Pablo Machin's squad for the 2-1 Spanish Super Cup defeat to Barcelona.
And no doubt Roma will unveil the player in typically satirical fashion on social media.
Monchi has already had a promising first full summer as director of football at the club, signing the likes of Justin Kluivert from Ajax, Javier Pastore from Paris Saint-Germain, Gregoire Defrel from Sassuolo, Davide Santon from Inter, Patrik Schick from Sampdoria and Bryan Cristante on loan from Atalanta.
