SANTI CAZORLA was given the most bizarre entrance at his unveiling ceremony for Villarreal.

The former Arsenal ace was given a magician's welcome, as he appeared from within a glass tube filled with smoke.

The 33-year-old Spaniard rejoined the Spanish outfit, after being released from the Gunners.

He had been training with the club throughout the summer, but had to undergo a trial before officially signing for the Yellow Submarine.

And Villarreal certainly went all out in their bid to show their appreciation for the return of the man often described as a magician.

At their Estadio de La Ceramica, a magician entertained the crowd by filling a glass tube with smoke, before allowing it to dissipate and reveal Cazorla.

The Spaniard spent seven years at Villarreal across two spells, eventually leaving in 2011 for Malaga.

After helping them reach the Champions League, he moved to Arsenal a season later.

Despite becoming a fans' favourite and helping the club win two FA Cups, he suffered a horrific injury in October 2016 that required doctors to take tattooed skin from his arm and put it on his foot.

Cazorla also returns to Villarreal as a double European Championship winner with Spain.
