Chelsea star Willian reveals he wants to work with Jose Mourinho again amid Manchester United interest
Brazil winger admits he is happy at Stamford Bridge but would love to link up with Portuguese again one day
WILLIAN has revealed he wants to play for Jose Mourinho again amid interest from Manchester United.
The Chelsea winger's future was cast into doubt this summer with United, Barcelona and Real Madrid all keen on a transfer.
His late return to Stamford Bridge - caused by passport problems - sparked further speculation the Brazil star was going.
Willian, 29, insists he is happy at Chelsea but talked up ex-boss Mourinho.
He told : "Mourinho is the best manager I've ever worked with. We have a good relationship, we are friends.
"Sometimes we talk, we text, we send messages to each other via WhatsApp. He is a great manager, I really enjoyed working with him. I hope I can work with him again someday."
Mourinho praised Willian as the "cream of the crop" after Chelsea beat United 2-1 in February.
He has been repeatedly linked with a move for him since the Portuguese joined Old Trafford in 2016.
Willian said: "I don't know if there was any official bid [from Manchester United], but some things have happened.
"Also, everything comes out on the internet, too. But Mourinho talks to my agent all the time, he says 'bring him, bring him'.
"No, he has never called me, but he always sends me text messages.
"But I am very happy at Chelsea, I want to stay in the club. I also like living in London, it is an amazing city, and my family is well adapted. So yeah, I intend to stay at Chelsea."
Willian, who returned to action in the 2-0 Community Shield defeat to Manchester City on Sunday, also revealed how "difficult" it was to work under Antonio Conte.
