Palace have a space for a Premier loan signing in their squad and would pay ’s wages in full to make the switch happen.

The Eagles have also been chasing Swansea’s Jordan Ayew but that deal is in trouble because Dutchman Jairo Riedewald snubbed his part in the swap.

Palace could yet buy Ghana frontman Ayew, 26, at the right price but that may on Andros Townsend leaving before the close of business.

But Bolasie, a Selhurst Park fans' favourite, would be the coup signing.

His debut season at Goodison was blighted by a knee injury and last term was almost as frustrating.

Form and fitness problems limited him to just 16 games under Sam Allardyce.

Now Silva has reportedly been told to slim his squad.

Bolasie, who has three years left on his contract, is one of the big names struggling to justify his place.

And just three weeks ago the 29-year-old was strongly linked with Turkish giants Fenerbahce.
