ANTHONY MARTIAL is preparing to face the music from Jose Mourinho after arriving back at the Manchester United training ground.
The 22-year-old was slapped with a £180,000 fine after going AWOL following the birth of his son Swan.
And the Red Devils winger will now face showdown talks with the Special One after he refused to re-join United's pre-season tour of the US.
The French international broke his silence on social media on Wednesday - insisting that his family will always come first before football.
Martial tweeted: "Thank you for all your posts. My little Swan is fine, for the mum it was harder but thanks to God she's better now.
"Sorry but my family will always come first... Back tomorrow in Manchester."
Martial's future at Old Trafford has been of much speculation this summer - with Mourinho refusing to give the ex-Monaco ace any guarantees he will be staying.
The 55-year-old was left furious with the player's actions after failing to report back to America, and it remains to be seen what role the 2015 Golden Boy Award will play this season.
He fell down the pecking order at the Theatre of Dreams last campaign following the signing of Alexis Sanchez, while Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford were often preferred instead.
However he still managed to rack up 11 goals in all competitions despite being a peripheral figure in the side.

While Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are understood to have rejected the chance to sign the forward.
