ANTHONY MARTIAL has broken his silence after receiving a £180,000 fine and revealed: "My family will always come first."
Boss Jose Mourinho was left furious with the Frenchman after he refused to return to the club's pre-season tour of the US.
But Martial has hit back and took to social media to write: "Thank you for all your posts.
"My little Swan is fine, for the mum it was harder but thanks to God she's better now.
"Sorry but my family will always come first... Back tomorrow in Manchester."

Anthony Martial had left Manchester United's pre-season tour after starting it out in California
Martial's future at Old Trafford has been left hanging by a thread.
When asked last night what the future held for the player, Mourinho tried to refer the question to his press office Karen Shotbolt.
He said: “Anthony Martial is better for Karen to answer if she wants to answer.”
Asked later if he would return to the squad he said: “I don't know.”
The player's relationship with Mourinho deteriorated last season following the arrival of Alexis Sanchez.
It pushed the £44.5million winger down the pecking order and he was subsequently left out of the French squad that were crowned World Cup winners.
Tottenham have been linked with a move for the forward and United would be willing to cash in but only if they receive the same figure they forked out for him in 2015.
