France star would become the Blues' best-paid player and earn around £70k a week more than Eden Hazard
CHELSEA have offered N'Golo Kante a new five-year deal worth £290,000 a week, reports claim.
The Blues are willing to make him their best-paid player in a bid to keep the midfield star away from the clutches of Paris Saint-Germain, according to .
Kante, 27, would approximately double his wages and earn a staggering £75million over the course of a contract that would see him stay for two years beyond his current deal and until 2023.
And his weekly pay packet would be around £70k more than Eden Hazard – who could also be offered fresh terms in order to keep him away from Real Madrid.
French champions PSG made Kante their top target at the start of the summer and his stock only rose after France won the World Cup.
New boss Maurizio Sarri is desperate to keep his stars as Barcelona and Madrid eye Hazard and Willian.
