WORLD CUP star Harry Maguire relaxes on the beach in Barbados as Manchester United battle for his signature.

The Leicester City defender was enjoying a well-deserved break in the Caribbean with his girlfriend Fern Hawkins after England’s run to the World Cup semi-final in Russia.

Maguire,25, has enhanced his reputation just a year after moving to the King Power from Hull for £17million.

But United are desperate to add a central defender before the transfer window shuts and have made the Yorkshire man their priority.

The Foxes are desperate to hold on to their star man and want to tie him down to a lucrative new deal when he returns from holiday.

But if Leicester decide to cash in, they will demand at least £60million for the Three Lions star who has another four years left on his contract at the King Power.

SunSport reported Mourinho has told chief Ed Woodward to get a deal wrapped up for Maguire ahead of the season opener against Leicester at Old Trafford.

United have been given some encouragement as the Foxes are set to bid for Newcastle skipper Jamaal Lascelles.

SunSport revealed a £35m bid is being planned by Claude Puel who seems to be planning for life after Maguire.
