FRENCH footballer Alain Bulteel has let N'Golo Kante get under his skin... by getting a tattoo of the Chelsea star's face.
Left-back Bulteel bet pals he would have the body art done if France won the World Cup.
Kante, 27, duly inspired Les Bleus to glory in Russia earlier this month.
Bulteel plays for non-league US Niederbronn, near Strasbourg, and also works as a landscape gardener.
He spent almost four hours under the needle to get former Leicester ace Kante's image inked on his lower back.
The 21-year-old said: "I often make bets with my friends, but this is the craziest one yet. When you bet and lose you have to settle up.
"I chose Kante because of his smile, shyness, modesty and amazing record. This is a proper tattoo that will stay with me for life."
Tattooist Marina Blache-Lebrument added: "It took three and a half hours to do, but I'm delighted with the result. It's magnificent."
It is not the only story of tattoo-based football bets this summer with Birmingham City supporter Kevin Tomlinson getting manager Gary Monk’s face etched on his backside after Birmingham avoided relegation from the Championship.
Bolton fan Mark Yates also marked his team avoiding the drop by getting a tat of striker Aaron Wilbraham’s face on his leg following a similar promise.
