Now he has got his wish and will join the Turkish giants on a season-long loan.

The forward, 28, was given permission to leave the club's camp in Austria to join the ambitious outfit immediately.

Swansea are happy to have him off their books as they look to slash their payroll.

And Ayew's salary, worth around £60,000-a-week, will be a major saving ahead of the Championship season.
