Wolves to sign Middlesbrough ace Adama Traore and will pay stunning £18m up front

Spanish winger has had his buyout clause activated by the Premier League new-boys

WOLVES are buying Middlesbrough speedster Adama Traore - and paying £18 million UP FRONT to make it happen.

The Premier League new boys have matched the asking price in winger Traore's contract, which has to be paid in one 'hit,' and will also offer him the terms he wants.

Aston Villa fans invade the pitch after beating Middlesbrough in play-off semi-finals

Traore was a success for Boro in the Championship after joining from Aston Villa, who will also collect a slice of the sale for their coffers.

The Wolves swoop will spark other deals as it opens the doors for them to sell a couple of players while Boro are also hurriedly looking for a replacement.

The 22-year-old sat out of Boro's latest pre-season game yesterday.

SunSport reported earlier this morning how the Premier League new-boys are closing in on Atletico Madrid defender Jonny Castro.

The left-back moved to Atletico from Celta Vigo this week for £6million and has been sent to the West Midlands for a season on loan with the Premier League new boys.

Castro made 40 appearances for the La Liga side and scored two goals with one assist.
