KYLIAN MBAPPE has revealed he has urged N’Golo Kante to quit Chelsea – and join him at Paris Saint-Germain.

Mbappe and Kante both played major roles as Les Bleus lifted the trophy in Moscow earlier this month.

Super-rich PSG now want to add Paris-born Kante to their squad as they prepare a major push for the Champions League.

And Mbappe has said he has discussed signing the former Leicester favourite with Parc des Princes president Nasser al-Khelaifi.

The 19-year-old spoke out in an interview with Tuesday’s France Football magazine.

Mbappe said: “It is true to say the president asked my advice, and I told him repeatedly that Kante would be good for our team.

“I spoke with N’Golo during the World Cup about him joining us.

“I didn’t impose on him, as I know that is the time when players get brainwashed about possible transfers.

“But in the end I put a few written words in his pockets to get the message across to him well.

PSG signed Mbappe from Monaco last summer, paying around £160million – a world record fee for a teenager.

He helped them win the French domestic treble last season.

Mbappe went on to score four goals in Russia, including one in the 4-2 final win over Croatia, and was named best young player of the tournament.

Kante won the Premier League title with Leicester in 2016, then repeated the feat with Chelsea a year later.
