West Ham’s £40m Felipe Anderson deal on brink as Lazio winger is given work permit
Brazilian is closing in on a club-record switch which is set to be completed this week
WEST HAM are on the brink of completing a record £40million swoop for Felipe Anderson.
Lazio's Brazilian forward, 25, has reportedly been handed a work permit after the clubs eventually struck a deal.
And the insists the Hammers are set to announce their new record signing by tomorrow to continue a busy summer.
Jack Wilshere and Andriy Yarmolenko have already arrived this week - joining Lukasz Fabianski, Issa Diop and Ryan Fredericks at the London Stadium.
And joint-chairman David Sullivan says the Hammers are not done spending yet.
He said: "We are delighted to have secured two very exciting signings in the space of three days.

"As a board, we assured our supporters that we would be looking to bring in high-calibre players, and Jack [Wilshere] and Andriy [Yarmolenko] fit that bill perfectly.
"Both of them have played at the highest level and we look forward to seeing that quality on show on a regular basis in the Claret and Blue.
"Jack also knows the Premier League very well, and I know all our supporters will join me in welcoming them both to the London Stadium.
"They become our fourth and fifth new signings of an already busy summer, after the additions of Ryan Fredericks, Issa Diop and Lukasz Fabianski.
"We also hope to have more exciting news regarding incomings in the near future as we aim to provide Manuel with the strongest squad possible."
