New West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini wants more creativity in his squad

Irons boss Manuel Pellegrini is desperate to add more creativity in midfield with Manuel Lanzini sidelined with a long-term knee injury.

Spanish outlet claims contact has been made between the clubs about the 29-year-old’s availability.

The Argentina-born schemer joined Sevilla two years ago for around £13million from Palermo after a season on loan in Spain at Rayo Vallecano.

Vazquez made 44 appearances for the La Liga side last season, operating mainly as an attacking midfielder.
