Joe Hart back in Man City training as exiled England goalkeeper searches for new permanent club

The stopper was sent out on loan for the last two seasons but is yet to find a new club this summer

JOE HART was snapped back in Manchester City training today as the goalkeeper seeks a move away after 12 years at the club.

Hart, 31, joined Man City in 2006 and has made 321 Premier League appearances in his career.

But although the exiled England goalkeeper looks set to leave, he returned to City’s pre-season training as normal.

Hart spent the 2016/17 season at Torino as Claudio Bravo was Pep Guardiola’s controversial first-choice between the sticks.

Last season, Ederson came into the Etihad and was lauded for his performances throughout City’s title-winning, record-breaking season.

Hart went out on loan again, this time to West Ham, where he battled with Adrian for his spot in the side.

Hart endured a difficult season at the London Stadium

He made 19 league appearances for the Hammers last term but kept just four clean sheets and won three matches, coming under heavy criticism for making four errors leading to goals in that time.

Gareth Southgate left the goalkeeper out of his World Cup squad, opting instead to take Jordan Pickford, Jack Butland and Nick Pope to Russia.

It left Hart frustrated on social media and during England’s win over Sweden this weekend, he was playing village cricket.

And with the new season just a month away, Hart will want to get into the best form possible to force a move away from the Etihad in the coming weeks, with City boss Guardiola certainly sticking with Ederson.
