World Cup 2018: Brazil and Barcelona ace Paulinho wanted by Chinese Super League side in £44m deal

PAULINHO could be on his way back to China in a £44million move.

Spanish paper claim that Barcelona have an offer on the table for the Brazil midfielder from an unnamed Chinese Super League club.

They add that Paulinho does not want to be drawn on the move while he concentrates on the World Cup.

And AS also say that Barca boss Ernesto Valverde is keen to keep the 29-year-old.

However, club chiefs are reportedly preparing to sit down with Paulinho's agent to discuss the offer.

And he featured heavily in La Liga, make 21 starts and coming off the bench 13 times, scoring nine goals.

He has been a key part of Brazil's World Cup midfield alongside Real Madrid rival Casemiro.

Paulinho started all three group games as well as the 2-0 win over Mexico in the last 16, netting against Serbia in their final group game.

He is set to line up alongside Manchester City's Fernandinho against Belgium on Friday night, with Casemiro suspended.
