Jack Wilshere holds face-to-face talks with West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini
Free agent has also been offered a bumper contract from Turkish giants Fenerbahce as he prepares to decide on his future
JACK WILSHERE has reportedly held face-to-face talks with Manuel Pellegrini.
The midfielder is a free agent after deciding to leave Arsenal following 17 years at the North London giants.
Now the claims he could be close to finalising a switch across the capital to West Ham after discussions with their new manager.
Wilshere, 26, is believed to have been keen to learn how he fitted into Pellegrini’s plans.
However, the Hammers face stiff competition from Fenerbahce.
The Turkish side have made a huge offer to Wilshere to will almost certainly eclipse West Ham’s when it comes to wages.
But the star’s decision does not come down to finances with his young family happily settled in London.
Wilshere missed out on Gareth Southgate’s England World Cup squad this summer.
And he also knows staying in the Premier League will keep him on the radar of the Three Lions manager as he looks to try and win an international recall.
Fellow Prem sides Everton and Wolves are also keen on securing the services of the playmaker.
