ROMA star Kostas Manolas has put Manchester United on red alert by admitting he wants a move to a big club.
The Greek centre-back has named the Red Devils alongside Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich as the biggest sides in world football.
It’s believed that United are in the market for a new defender as they prepare to offload deadwood including Daley Blind.
And 27-year-old Manolas, who has been strongly linked with Chelsea, would be a ready-made performer for the role.
Roma are understood to be keen on keeping him in the Italian capital.
And with other stars including Alisson also being eyed by top teams, the Serie A giants are unlikely to let anyone go for peanuts.

However, United could be tempted to make a move after Manolas revealed Old Trafford is one of his preferred destinations.
The ace told Sport 24: “It’s only natural you want to play for the biggest clubs, like Barcelona, Man Utd, PSG and Bayern Munich.
“I think I could make the difference anywhere I went, even at Barcelona – although I have never spoken to them.”
Should he move to the Theatre of Dreams, Manolas could be joined at the back by Alex Sandro, with reports claiming the Brazilian left-back has agreed personal terms with United ahead of a £53m switch from Juventus.
