MAROUANE FELLAINI has finally put pen to paper and committed his future to Manchester United.
The Belgian midfielder, who suggested he may leave Old Trafford this summer, has signed a new deal that keeps him at the club until 2020.
The 30-year-old has been at the club since he was signed by David Moyes in 2013.
Fellaini has proved to be popular player with Jose Mourinho since the Portuguese coach took charge two years ago.
His new contract means the midfielder will remain at the club for another two seasons, with an option of a third year.
Fellaini's new deal comes a day after reports that he snubbed a move to Arsenal.
New Gunners boss Unai Emery reportedly couldn't offer the midfielder as much as Mourinho.
He said: "I am pleased to be continuing my journey as a Manchester United player.
"I made this decision because I am very happy here. Also, I feel like this team, under Jose, still has a lot we want to achieve."
Expectations that Fellaini may leave Old Trafford grew when he criticised the club for its dealings with him.

He told Voetbal magazine in May: "The club did not renew my contract last year. Now I am in a strong position, especially since Mourinho has stated that he wants to keep me.
"Last year I went to the coach and I said that I wanted a new contract. I then had a second meeting, but I will not ask it 10 times.
"Afterwards I became important for the team… and a good player costs at least €50 million (£44 million). The club knows that they went wrong there."
Fellaini has made 156 appearances and scored 20 goals in his five seasons at United.
