Miralem Pjanic will join Chelsea for £70m this summer, insists ex-Juventus chief
Bosnian playmaker is apparently on his way to Stamford Bridge to link up with Maurizio Sarri
MIRALEM PJANIC will join Chelsea in a £70million deal this summer.
That’s according to ex-Juventus director Luciano Moggi, who told Il Bianconero the Bosnian will be linking up with new boss Maurizio Sarri at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are yet to announce their plans regarding Antonio Conte’s future, but it is widely believed the Premier League and FA Cup winner will be sacked by Roman Abramovich to make way for Sarri shortly.
The Blues are yet to make a signing in the transfer window because of their current managerial situation.
But with former Napoli boss Sarri expected to be announced as early as next week, it appears Chelsea have already set the gears in motion regarding a deal for playmaker Pjanic.
The former Roma star is regarded as one of Serie A’s best midfielders, and one of the finest tempo-setters on the continent.

Sarri is famed for his possession-based tactics and appears to have earmarked Pjanic as the man to control things in the centre of the park.
Former Juve chief Moggi reckons it’s almost a done deal, and Chelsea fans are sure to be anxiously waiting to see if there’s a new arrival in West London over the coming weeks.
Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid are also reckoned to be interested in Pjanic.
But Juventus regard him as one of their most important players and are currently trying to tie him down to a new long-term contract.
