Burnley to face Aberdeen in Europa League second qualifying round with first-leg at Pittodrie on July 26 before return at Turf Moor a week later
It will be the first European match for the Clarets in 51 years after their top seven Premier League finish last season
BURNLEY have drawn Scottish side Aberdeen in the Europa League.
The Clarets and Dons have both been seeded in the second round qualifying draw.
And the Battle of Britain was confirmed when the pair were pulled out of the hat against each other this afternoon in Nyon, Switzerland.
Premier League Burnley will travel to Pittodrie for the first-leg on Thursday, July 26.
The two will lock horns again a week later at Turf Moor on Thursday, August 2.
Sean Dyche secured the club European football for the first time in 51 years after guiding them to seventh last season.
It was only the third time in their history that they have qualified for Euro competition.
Aberdeen earned their spot by finishing second in the Scottish top-flight.
The Dons are managed by Derek McInnes and are no strangers to the competition.
They have played in the Europa League for the last four seasons but have only managed to reach the third qualifying round each time.
