CRISTIANO RONALDO has shown off his incredible leg physique - again - during Portugal training ahead of this summer's World Cup.

The Real Madrid star, 33, took to Instagram to share a team pose featuring himself, Beto, Rui Patricio, Mario Rui and others.

In the snap, Ronaldo is seen with his shorts hoiked all the way up with his arms folded, while doing what looks like his best Zoolander impression.

The posed image might be seen as a retort to Lionel Messi following his G.O.A.T - Greatest Of All Time - photoshoot earlier this week... featuring real goats.

Messi posed for the shoot with New York-based magazine Paper, where he cradled a kid goat and stood next to a horned adult.

Speaking to Paper, Messi explained his love of his animals, while adding: "I don't consider myself the best, I think I am just another player.

"On the field, we are all the same when the game begins."

But in truth, Messi and Ronaldo - neither of whom have ever won the World Cup - have been vying for the mantle of world's best footballer for years.

The pair are arguably only matched by Pele and Diego Maradona looking at the list of stars from yesteryear.

However, both the Brazilian and Argentine legends HAVE taken home a World Cup crown... can Ron or Leo finally break their duck in Russia this summer?
