STEVEN GERRARD made his second appearance at the Toulon Tournament on his first day as Rangers boss.
The Liverpool legend officially started work with the Light Blues today.
And with a pen and notepad in his hands, he took in the clash between England vs Qatar at the prestigious U-21 tournament.
The Three Lions XI included Everton’s Tom Davies, Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham and Arsenal starlet Eddie Nketiah.
England thrashed Qatar 4-0 but face an anxious wait to discover whether they have made it through to the semi-finals.
An own goal and strikes from Rolando Vieira, Abraham and Adam Armstrong secured victory.
Gerrard also spent yesterday afternoon in the south of France, taking in Japan vs Portugal and Canada vs Turkey.
