The truth behind the Arsenal signing picture that got Gunners fans very excited about Stephan Lichtsteiner
Gooners duped into believing they had completed the signing of Swiss international defender
ARSENAL fans have been duped into thinking they had completed their first signing of the summer thanks to some impressive photoshopping.
The Gunners have agreed terms with out of contract Juventus ace Stephan Lichtsteiner.
Unai Emery is now on the verge of making the 34-year-old Swiss star the maiden signing under his reign.
Although the deal is virtually completed, it has yet to be confirmed by the Emirates outfit.
But that did not stop some fans from jumping the gun after an image of Lichtsteiner began circulating online.
It appeared to show the defender posing in front of an Arsenal crest, pen in hand and about to sign his contract.

But through the use of photoshop, Lichtsteiner’s face had actually been put over Holding’s.
Luckily it was quickly pointed out – but fair play, the culprit managed to trick a few before his handywork came to light.
