LORIS KARIUS has opened up on his Champions League final nightmare - and admitted he cost his team the title while apologising to "everyone".
The Liverpool keeper suffered two horrendous blunders on the biggest stage of them all to gift Real Madrid their third straight European title.
First Karius rolled the ball right into Karim Benzema's path, allowing him to prod home for the opener.
Then he flapped at Gareth Bale's swerving 30-yard rocket to settle it 3-1 in Zinedine Zidane's side's favour.
And speaking to about his horror show, he said: "I don't feel anything right now. Today I lost my team the game.
"I feel sorry for everyone. I'm so sorry for everyone, for the team, for the whole club. The mistake cost us dearly.
"If I could go back in time I would.
"I just feel sorry for my team. I know I let them down today.
"It is very hard right now, but that is the life of a goalkeeper. You have got to get your head up again.
"For now, I'm just really sorry for everyone that those goals cost us the title basically."
Liverpool players were slammed as "utterly classless" for not being the first to console their team-mate at the final whistle.
Real Madrid star Nacho was there straight away to pick up the German shot-stopper and Gareth Bale was on the scene too.
