SAM ALLARDYCE has made a massive £13.5million from being ushered out by clubs.

Everton confirmed they had axed the 63-year-old boss this morning after a "fiery"; meeting with Toffees owner Farhad Moshiri.

Don't spill too many tears for Big Sam, though.

He has pocketed a fortune in compensation packages inserted as clauses in his contracts - and this latest one from Everton is the biggest of the lot.

Here, SunSport takes a look at how the ex-England manager's bank account has swelled after leaving various jobs.

The Toffees will be forking out Big Sam's biggest ever pay-off after his departure today.

Allardyce joined the club just last November on an 18-month deal but felt the full force of fan fury, leading to his axing.

His contract will have to be paid in full after he kept Everton in the Premier League.

However, his backroom staff will get compensation worth just three months' salary.

2016 England - £1m

MPs slammed Allardyce's "sickening" £1m pay-off after being removed as national boss.

Allardyce made £650,000 for a measly 67-day stint in charge of the Three Lions.

But he was booted out after being caught on camera allegedly advising undercover reporters how to breach FA rules on third-party ownership.

Damian Collins, who was then interim chairman of the Culture, Media and Sport Committee, slammed the FA for not examining Allardyce's record thoroughly enough before appointing him.

FA chairman Greg Clarke said the disgraced chief had "let us down badly" - but they still gave him £1m.

2010 Blackburn - £2.5m

Rovers owners Venky's said they sacked Allardyce two years after he was appointed because they wanted "good football".

They also wanted their former boss to leave with a nice wedge.

Big Sam pocketed £2.5m to cover the final year of his contract.

Allardyce said at the time: "It was obviously a big shock - I didn't expect it.

"Unfortunately I had to pop in and see the chairman and he delivered the rather shocking news.

"It has still not really been explained to me and I am a bit confused in my own head as to why."

We're sure the compensation probably eased his anxiety.

2008 Newcastle - £4m

Allardyce purchased a stunning five-bedroom Spanish mansion with the millions he made from this sacking as Newcastle manager.

The Costa Blanca property was even named Casa St James.

Allardyce bought the luxury hideout in 2009 for £1.9m and it was recently listed on a housing website for around £3.4m.

It boasts sea views, a big hot tub and swimming pool, five bathrooms, large garden, open-plan kitchen and living room.

1996 Blackpool - £10,000

Tangerines chairman at the time, Owen Oyston, sacked Allardyce - allegedly from his prison cell - after the side missed out on promotion to League One.

Recalling the episode, Allardyce said: "We had missed promotion to the First Division by a point.

"Yet it had all been done on next to nothing, and during the months leading towards the end of the season, I hardly ever saw Owen Oyston. He assured me my job would be safe.

";I turned up for that meeting having been told it was to discuss new terms.

"Instead I was told I was being sacked.

"I walked out of there with £10,000, no job and desperately worried that my reputation would be damaged forever."
