BBC confirm World Cup 2018 pundits as Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba and Rio Ferdinand join Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer

THE BBC have confirmed their pundits for the 2018 World Cup with Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba and Rio Ferdinand joining Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer.

Pablo Zabaleta, Jurgen Klinsmann, Dan Walker and Alex Scott also join the star-studded crew for this summer's tournament in Russia.

Elsewhere, Phil Neville, Mark Chapman, Kevin Kilbane, Jermaine Jenas will head to Russia for this summer's tournament.

The BBC revealed their all-star cast in a post-Match of the Day skit, featuring Lineker and Shearer.

ITV revealed their own line-up on Monday - with Sky Sports pundit and Manchester United legend Gary Neville leading their World Cup coverage in Russia.

Neville will be working alongside regular pundits Roy Keane, Ryan Giggs, Ian Wright, Lee Dixon and England women's star Eniola Aluko.

Patrice Evra, Henrik Larsson, Martin O'Neill, Slaven Bilic and Mark Clattenburg will also be joining presenters Mark Pougatch and Jacqui Oatley.

Clive Tyldesley, Sam Matterface, Jon Champion and Joe Speight will be commentating on all of the action.
