Everton will sack Sam Allardyce in the next 48 hours as they look again to Marco Silva
Former England manager has lost the trust of Farhad Moshiri and will be summoned to a meeting in the next few days
SAM ALLARDYCE will be sacked by Everton within the next 48 hours.
As revealed by SunSport on Sunday, Goodison majority owner Farhad Moshiri will ditch Big Sam and pursue Marco Silva as his successor.
Allardyce is expected to receive £6million for the remainder of a contract that was due to run until the end of next season.
Speaking to Sky Sports last night, the Toffees boss, 63, would only say: “Who knows what will happen next?
“I am going to have a meeting with Farhad then I am going on my holidays.”
Allardyce will not return to Goodison after his break, however, and neither will Wayne Rooney whose switch to DC United will also be confirmed this week.
Everton fans have turned against the ex-England coach — unhappy with his defensive style.
Many voiced their frustration again as their side were beaten 3-1 at West Ham on the final day of the season.

Ex-Watford boss Silva — Moshiri’s first choice to succeed sacked Ronald Koeman six months ago — could be in place within a week.
Ironically, he is also wanted by West Ham as a replacement for David Moyes, but is understood to favour a Merseyside move.
