MAURICIO POCHETTINO will ask Tottenham for £150million to overhaul his squad this summer, according to reports.
The Spurs boss is set to meet chief Daniel Levy and billionaire owner Joe Lewis this week and wants assurances money will be provided help mount a title challenge next season.
He also wants his star players to be offered new deals ahead of the World Cup, before committing his long-term future in North London, say .
Levy wants Poch to pen a new contract worth around £8.5m-a-year.
But the Spurs boss wants to know where the club are going after spending £850m on their new stadium before putting pen to paper.
Pochettino has accepted the club cannot financially compete with their rivals at the top of the Premier League.

But with another Champions League campaign next season, he feels the next step has to be leading a squad that can challenge on all fronts.
Keeping Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen, Jan Vertonghen, Eric Dier and Hugo Lloris is vital to his plans moving forward.

All six players are set to be offered new contracts this summer.
Pochettino also wants the nod to sell anybody he believes he can replace.
Toby Alderweireld, Danny Rose and Mousa Dembele could all lave this summer.
All three will need to be replaced with the futures of Victor Wanyama, Fernando Llorente and Moussa Sissoko uncertain.
Wilfried Zaha and Ryan Sessegnon are both on his summer shopping list with Anthony Martial and Real Madrid’s Mateo Kovacic’s situations being closely monitored.
Any tilt at landing big names will require Spurs breaking their club record transfer fee of £42m shelled out to Ajax for Davidson Sanchez last year.
Pochettino wants decisive action and not for the club to be slow out of the blocks in terms of recruitment, which has cost Spurs in the past.
Levy waited until Kyle Walker joined Manchester City for £50m before doing any business last summer and Pochettino will not want a repeat of that scenario this year.
He is also fearful that some of Europe’s biggest clubs will attempt to unsettle his stars if new contracts are not agreed before they jet off for the World Cup with their respective countries.
