MANCHESTER UNITED legend Eric Cantona has insisted "there is no place like home" as he is set to return to Old Trafford in June.

The 51-year-old has become the latest star to announce their participation in the Soccer Aid for Unicef, as he joins Usain Bolt in the World XI.

He remains a firm fan favourite among United supporters, having helped the Red Devils to four Premier League titles in five years before retiring in 1997.

Speaking ahead of his return to the Theatre of Dreams, the former Beach Soccer World Cup winner claimed it is a special feeling knowing he will step foot inside the stadium as a player once again.

Cantona, who netted 82 times in 185 games under Sir Alex Ferguson, said: "There is no place like home.

"Knowing I am coming back to Old Trafford is a special feeling and I am looking forward to seeing the stands full of familiar faces.

"My message is this: Soccer Aid for Unicef  is a game like no other because of the support you give it.

"I am coming back to make the June 10 match the best ever and I want you to join me. Let’s make history together at Old Trafford again one last time."

Bolt - captaining the World XI - can count upon the likes of Robert Pires, Clarence Seedorf, Yaya Toure, Jaap Stam, Dan Carter, Patrick Kluivert and Edwin van der Sar in his team.

While Cantona will come up against a star-studded England side - captained by Soccer Aid co-founder Robbie Williams.

And the former Take That singer boasts the likes of Sir Mo Farah, Olly Murs, Mark Wright, David Seaman, Jamie Redknapp, Danny Murphy and Robbie Fowler in his squad.

Tickets for the clash are priced between £10 and £50, with the game to be broadcast live on ITV four days before the start of the World Cup.

Soccer Aid was founded in 2006, and has since raised over £24million to help children in need.
