James Milner will celebrate Liverpool’s Champions League final qualification with glass of Ribena
JAMES MILNER'S Twitter parody may be funny — but the man himself has even better banter.
The former England midfielder put in a typically hard-grafting and disciplined performance for the Reds as they qualified for their eighth Champions League final with a 7-6 aggregate win over Roma.
And the Liverpool ace turned the ball into his own net after a thumped clearance clattered him in the back of the swede before ricocheting into his own net.
But Milner and co got on with the job and they will face Real Madrid in the Kiev final on May 26.
Asked what he would do to celebrate after the game, BT Sport reporter Des Kelly asked if he would sip a glass of red wine.
Milner replied: "Maybe for some of the lads. I might stretch myself out and have a Ribena."
And the self deprecation did not end there.
He later tweeted: "Anyone got any tips for getting a Champions League logo off a face?"

A reference, of course, to the ball thumping him in the chops during his own goal howler.
Even Milner's parody account could not contend with the choice of beverage.
They tweeted: "It's not every day you qualify for the Champions League final.
"It's time to celebrate. The cups of tea are on me."
