Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez ‘given Cartier diamond engagement ring’ worth £615,000

CRISTIANO RONALDO looks like he may have splashed out an absolute fortune to ensure he ties the knot with Georgina Rodriguez.

The shopkeeper-turned-model fuelled speculation that the pair are engaged after she showed off a sparkling ring in an Instagram video. 

Although the pair have kept tight-lipped over a future wedding, the type of ring is the biggest hint yet that the loved-up duo are set to get hitched.

The Real Madrid ace appears to have spared no expense, with estimates suggesting he forked out a whopping £615,000 on the Cartier ring.

Cartier advertise it as an engagement ring and recently uploaded a picture of it on Instagram.

Rodriguez, who has 4.6million followers on the social media site, commented with a string of heart emojis.

The new ring comes just months after she gave birth to the couple's first child Alana Martina.

Rodriguez was sat in the passenger seat of the ex-Manchester United ace's luxury motor when she showed off the new rock.

She blows a kiss to the camera to reveal the ring on her right hand.

And it sent social media into a meltdown with excited users agreeing that an engagement was on the cards.

One user said: "This is it! It's finally happened. Surely got to be engaged haven't they?"

Another added: "Ronnie is finally settling down! He's found the one and it's only a matter of time."
